I know what you mean. I just finished it.
I feel really bad for him about that. I can't imagine how horrible that must've been cause he wouldn't have been but in his 30's then.
But the rest of the show is funny. Gets pretty good. Lots of references to past episodes and other past happenings.

Just started watching it myself. I'm 13 minutes in.
I'm surprised he didn't get a load of complaints from the god-squad all holier than thou bunch about doing 117mph on a public road.

As horrible as that is, I have always wanted a similar situation that would allow me to drive in a similar manner. Obviously it would never be deemed safe, but it sure would be awesome.

It hit me in the feels too.
It sucks knowing that those cars they took with them will eventually get trashed. I particularly like the Mustang and the Esprit

The mustang had issues. I would say its a good shell, but mechanically I could care less if it survived. It needed alot of work

I may of misheard then as it only sounded like one-seventeen. There aren't that many places to get up to 170mph. Though on my side of the Pennines (North Lancashire and up into central Cumbria) 100-120mph after dusk is quite common if you know where the police usually hang out and to slow as you pass.

Slightly off topic, but does anybody know how I can change my IP to appear to be a UK IP so I can stream off the BBC website?

That was probably the first time I've cried watching a TV show.

I heard 170 too. That must have been intense. I will have to check if they have a cruising speed that high, maybe it was 117.

A bad power steering pump is hardly enough to condemn an entire car., especially when it is mostly Hammond's fault.
Hammond bitched about the steering feel and didn't think to check the fluid level before he left the gas station; he burned the damn thing up.
